Driver's window playing up, sounded as if it had come loose..
Stripped the parts off the driver's door card & pulled it off the door enough to see what's what, without disconnecting the speakers.
Dropped & lifted the window.. the damn thing was working perfectly as before :roll:

slight vertical 'give' easing the window up by hand, but everything slots back where it should.
Guess I can't complain :lol:

Stripped the nudge bar, headlights, indicators, grill, foglights & pods and interior switches off Chugga. Only a few more bits, then Robbie's coming to take the engine out, before she goes to the big scrap yard in the sky.

All I did was put the MOT sticker on the windscreen.

got fed up with thinghs rollin and banging around in the boot. so hunted through the many boxs of bits that my wife keeps tell me to throw out cos i never need them :roll:

anyway got a few bolts n hooks ect and fitted them in the back of the trooper also took the rear cargo net off the swb fronty [ need to find a few more as there dead handy] and got the boot space cleaned up a bit. also trail fitted my bike rack that i used on the lwb fronty. it fits :dance:

put my fuel tank back on after changing the rear fuel lines

i bit the bullet and order egr valve gaskets now the exhaust side cost 1.36 the turbo side was that x10 seems cant order just one anyway not caring time i spent fuggging about get them wednesday so i will have nine spare for sale.

today I've replaced two CV boots serviced the hubs and calipers while they where off and coated the front suspension with Por-15, I had a tin in the shed for ages and thought I would see if it was still okay to use, it was

BUT I have found something more evil than waxoil to get off your skin, its evil evil stuff, my arms are red raw :evil:

Its great stuff but it needs over-painting f exposed to UV-sunlight :wink:

Put the Fronty into the garage for its MOT. Had to jump start the car to get it there as battery had gone flat.
End result - PASS certificate with two advisories: a nick in one tyre and a brake pipe thats got a little bit of corrosion - the tyre is due for replacement soon anyway. Had the remaining nearside step taken off so I can put restored donated ones on.
Scotland meet is a step nearer.

fixed egr's blanking plates, as one lost it seal on the way home from bobbys, fixed brake light, replaced blue side lights for white ones, installed CB, now i have ears, need to sort rear window, one of the runner wheels is naked, and the other is bent,

Slapped a thick coat of hammerite on mine and Robs 2" leaf lift shackles

during y trip to the beach i found a sign says no dogs on the beach

doesnt say a thing about dogs in the back of ruddy great v6 fronteras on the beach

but must remember when puddle bashing on the beach things live in the water

as i found these crawling over the bonnet when we came out of the refreshment establishment 10 mins after getting of the beach

wouldnt mind the rest of the car had dried out in the heatwave apprt from where they had been crawling to get into the shade of the wiper bay
