Today my spring loaded cb aerial flattener thingy arrived today....I fitted it and wish the rest of the truck worked as well as this did!

When flattened its still lower than the roof lights, so nothing to worry about, and I can flatten it from the drivers seat, so no need to stop and pull over if I see a low bridge or tree

Put more rubbish inside.

Been at work since 7.30 this morning :shock:

new pads all round, new shocks all round, rear brake pipe modified for more travel on the rear, bleed the brakes now after the seals inverted there selves in the master cylnder took 3 hours to sort out the problem :roll:

and finally new diff back plate on and axel oil changed

I didn't actually do anything. Robbie did though. He stripped down my front hubs and brakes and replaced the discs and pads with nice shiny new ones. He then greased the bearings and hubs up and replaced everything.

changed the fuel filter need the codes read though.

That's where I'm (eventually) gonna put mine. Did you have to cut much out of the back?

all i did was cut the back off midland 38 fits with loads of room. it's getting the cb to stay in is the awkward part

Fitted a central lap belt so can fit the 3 kids

, and changed oil/air/fuel filter, unfortunatly failed with the fuel filter and she wont start but think I know how to fix it and will try again tomorrow :roll:

your right james, it would need to go to vosa testing station, then dvla would have to be informed, then the insurance would need to know,

I did tell the insurance and they said it was fine ?? will ring Vosa tomorrow and take it to be tested, not taking kids in it at mo anyway, just put it in for emergencies

Thought I had best clear out bits and pieces before the Fronty goes for MOT tomorrow, then found the battery was half dead

I bet its been that radio "live" feed playing up again - as soon as I put the radio fully home in its holder the display starts acting up. I had removed the radio facia last week thinking that would be OK but it appears the radio set itself has been drinking the battery.
So, jump-starter getting chraged up for the morning - solar panel doing its bit of whats left of the evening daylight - thankfully daylight should start shortly after 3.30am so the solar panel will have another 5 hours work under its belt by the time I need to fire the Fronty up.
Just hope the battery isn't goosed.

Noticed that she was looking a bit dull so washed, coluor magic applied, polished and sealed. She looks alot better.
Checked all the fluids etc ready for a run to Weston tomorrow and fitted a new url sticker to the back window

put together a quick bodge for my cb aerial and fitted spots.
