WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!

Took my wheels off and tried to get them balanced, no chance, none of the local tyre places have a balancing machine big enough :lol:

Balancing beads are not doing the job properly so popped the tyres off the rims to remove the beads.

Off further afield tomorrow, rand a few places and found 1 that reckons they can do it, not holding my breath :roll:

yesterday i drove it about a bit after a near 2 week inforced break due to a lack of mot, dont you just luv em

I started my truck, again, and it was fine

got the airbag centre piece and now the horn works so thats everything on the MOT failure done

feels so rewarding getting a vehicle back on the road rather than going out a buying a new one and ending up in debt

its at my bro garage wheels off removing bits to finish the straight threw exhaust,thinking of having two tail pipes one each side also doing rear calipers as they are seized

LOL... nah mate, it's all good.

found a puddle of atf underneath and found it was from one of the pips to the bottom of the radiator so need to change the hose and get some new jubily clips and then put some more fluid in it tomorrow.

fixed the pipe to go for a drive and the pipe i swapped it for split had to buy a new piece of pip not ammused and put 3 litres of fluid in. just need another litre to make it beter again (pic to follow)

Dean do you keep brakin your truck on purpose just so you can keep fixin it????????? :mrgreen:

i hav'nt needed to fix mine in two weeks now. only cos i hav'nt driven it :lol:

I was determined to do it and I did.

I changed the heater matrix without taking out the dash.

Unfortunatly its has to come out again, while using brute force and not paying attention I managed to break one of the flap that controls the heat but not too bothered as I could proberly have it out in about an hour now I know what im doing.

Didnt do a a pic by pic on how to as I just wanted to get it done but I will do one when it comes out again.

Also my lack of heating when the temperature rises to 100 has gone too.
