Why dont you french em into the bumper Dave...would look really good and you would be less likely to rip em off...

Greg,I intend on putting them further back under the rear bumper than what is in the picture but you have given me another idea if my first idea doesnt look right before I fix them to the underside of the bumper bud. :lol:

went to pull off at the light up a hil and wondered why i was not going anywhere and the engine was racing. realised the back wheels where spinning in the rain. lifted my foot a little and regained traction. got to love hill strarts in an auto.

Drove it (smoothly) but like I stole it to get to appointment on time - and whilst towing. Roadholding good on a single track road with trailer!

i forgot the new lump has it full set of 200+ horses anot the 100is the nackerd v5 i took out had :dance:

Sanded back the rust bubbles on the bottoms of the doors/arches/bonnet edge, filled and primered and waiting for ordered paint to be delivered. Also found I have holes through the rear sills :cry:

It didn't look too bad until I got right into it. After it still not running right when it's had a £600 pump replacement-I'm not happy :cry:

But the way I'm looking at it-pump wont go anytime soon and the holes are nearly sorted. MOT's not til august so :cry:

plenty of time to weld. :shock:

decided that as it is raining today is the day i finally get the rear wiper working. if it stops raining when i get out of bed in the morning :oh yer:

Me and my brother got both leaf springs/leaf spring bushes and the track rod end done at his work today.

The STIG will be going for his re-Medical Operational Tag a week on Monday.

Simple, simple little job replacing the front anti-roll bar bush's.......

Going well with the n/s all shook loose and ready for the new bush then found the top hard to get at bolt on the o/s mounting siezed and the captive nut rotating (and yes, it was well squirted with penetrating fluid).

That is gonna be such a giggle getting at, not :cry:

We sealed up the rear window seal to get them a bit more water tight whre they press against the glass, should stop water building up inside the doors skin and rusting out, then fitted a new stereo (thanks Andy) this has the aux connector for my htc desire hd music

and then I went about polishing the dash and its nice and clean now
