WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!

Had to rev through the gears quick this evening - engine got the sudden "wake up" call and delivered - first time I've ever done that in the Fronty. Later found I was down a dipped beam headlight so bought a new one - now waiting for the rain season to ease so I can fit it.

Sorted the exhaust finally . Started it the joint held my welding skills worked. Then im sure i hear a wee blurghff from front.
Thats it of the jacks finally. Just interoir to rebuild.
Fitted new wing mirror

Bled the clutch fluid as it looked more like black coffee than brake fluid :lol:

Hammered the leaf spring back into place with the lump hammer(must get it fixed befor it drops out completly)

today i finnalised the position of my seat and get a pic of it

Rebuilt rear interior going to book mot if it fails on anything i have to buy im selling my 16" wheels

Towed an idiot Defender driver out

Drove mine into a 3ft deep rainwater gulley :oops:

Slept in it

Got towed out by money grabbing farmer :evil:

and still, it could of been worse!! that very defender could have pulled u out!

Offered him £20 as a goodwill gesture, he then demanded £50, we settled on £25

Put the new bulb in the n/side headlight. Legal again. Thankfully the rain stopped so I could do the job.

Had an annoying oil leak around the rubber intercooler pipe next to the battery, not much of a leak but seeing as it's the only leak on the truck at the moment it needed looking at.

Anyway, took the pipe off, gave it a good clean up and two layers of rubber self-amalgamating tape in case the pipe is beginning to go a bit porous then replaced it and tightend up the new jubilee clips. Hopefully that will have sorted it.

Find out in the morning as I'm off to sunny Chatham for the day, well Brompton to be precise.. oh yipeeee... :roll:

fed it some wynns lifter cleaner to get rid of the annoying tapping noise.

then swapped a front spring and discs and pads on my lad fiesta courrier in the rain as it needed it for mot

Checked the window and sunroof seals - all working A1 despite the gales and torrential downpours.

picked up 5 more wheels

so now i have 4 sets

Fitted side step. Interior. Spare wheel. Sorted lighs. Inner arch
booked mot for tomorrow
Got soaked
