got the MOT sorted ... that's one thing less to worry about :dance:

then fitted the FOG sticker to the rear screen ... looks quite cool , even if i say so myself

found out that i have an oil leak, it is the crank seal between the clutch and engine. i have no oil pressure when engine is on idol.
so look like i will have find ££££££ for a new Clutch + seal

Thats not good news Andy...that will be a spanner party in Harlow then, will have to see if we can muster the "redneck ant-hill mob" to come up and give you a hand.
Something Jason was saying the other day, is that it would be worth cleaning out all your breathers as this can cause the crankshaft seal to fail as pressure tries to find the easiest way out...deffo worth checking and doing I reckon..

Andy it's not that bad to do on yours,Crank shaft seal £10 if that,half a days job :wink:

And check all breather pipes are not blocked and are not kinked

andy i have the same problem at the mo, or i hope it is that seal. i have got it, now just needing to put it in,

but i am bidding on a new clutch kit on the bay at the mo, so hopefully will be doing that as well
if i get the clutch at the price i wanna pay it will be £50 all in for clutch kit and seal, so not bad, but i do have a nice oil patch on the road where i park mine :mrgreen:

and i have just made myself another frontera, took about 10 mins. cutting and glueing it together

well i have found a old stock parts, they have a few in for mine, inc bearing etc

and yea i know, if it was that much for mine, i would not be able to aford it :oops:

M.O.T. Done for another year no advisories and pass first time side steps taken off and ready to be cleaned once the next surgery is out the way in a couple of weeks...

Also used some emalgimating tape to try and stop the this balloon inflating everytime the turbo spins up.... :lol:

Also thanks Horses45 for the spots, they sit nice across the roof. Just need to get some cabling sorted and job done.. :wink:

The rain has washed mine to day :lol:

Examined mine for rain water leaks at the rear side windows - n/side bone dry, drivers side, one small weep. Not bad for torrential downpours through the night and this afternoon. Certainly pays to scrub those seals out.

i dragged Drift, kicking and screaming from his pit at silly oclock, robbed his tool kit and rebuilt the cylinder head on my veg burner. now i can go pee through his letterbox without having to ring him to pick me up first.

removed all the underneath protection plates as i wont be 4x4ing in it i can loss the weight
