Well I gave this a good clean

Also turned this brake thingey round as it was over streched,and causing my back brakes to lock on,so with some advice from Andysd1 I managed to sort it :dance:

And tightened my shocks as they all 4 was loose :oops:

I took a drive up to Robbie's and lifted Chugga's front suspension 1.25". Was gonna go bit further, but can see the camber change on the wheels. Think I'll have to flip the ball joints later in the year, then lift in a bit more. On the plus side though, the handling's improved no end. Think I owe Robbie a drink or two next weekend. :party:

welded up what was left of my front diff :shock:

i now have a pile of teeth

and then removed the outer case of my auto lockers, so they can not work

so now need some cheep manual hubs

Ive tidied up the inside...a bit :oops:

tightened the steering, seems to have accumulated a bit of free play, jobs a goodn, raised tyre pressures for motorway, waxioled a few sneaky bits I mush have missed underneath and screwed in another cb mic holder

Popped in the lovely LWB lights that I acquired from Tom. They went in dead easy. Then I took the battered bumper bits off of the back. Next job, wire brush and paint the rear cross member.

Decided I needed a proper mount rather than the naff magmount that falls off when you get the slightest gust of wind :roll:

Raided the odds n sods box in my shed and came up with a house door lock plate and a strip of rubber off a squeegee and came up with this.

Ain't pretty or sophisticated but it works!

Yesterday I took the roof off, and (hopefully) I won't be putting it back until Tuesday evening

And today I fitted a permanent cb aerial mount to replace the mag mount which I kept knocking off on low trees.

Tomorrow - just a few routine checks before the annual meet and I may even give the inside a quick clean

Ive cleaned it and used it [every day] and nothing has broken fallen off or stopped working :shock:

i cut the grass in the back garden, well she did get the mower ready for me,

then i tackled the front bumper, oh the joys of breaking the weld, and having two bolts just spinning, reaches for the grinder, oh XXXXXXXXX, livewire has got it,

Didnt get anything done to the STIG again,however I finished re-painting the alloys with alot of late nights doing them and luckly I have a great woman,as I did the alloys in the livingroom one at a time. :lol:

Had a curiosity attack at work...
Forgot to put some paperwork in at the weighbridge office when I did the numbers for amount of flour left in the tank, so dropped in on my way home and thought "I wonder how much Holly weighs". So saying, put her on the bridge and got a mild surprise.
Winchbumper & roofrack on, but skosh fuel, and random cruft weight about equal to the now departed back seats, and she came in at 2100kg bang on :shock:

Just think, stick me and a passenger in, plus a tank of diesel, and you're gonnae be up to 2350kg without luggage or back seat passengers.

Remind me to have a look at MGW tomorrow, heh
