fitted a new set of windscreen wipers as 1 of my old 1s fell apart on the green laning trip saturday, you see Ratcav fronteras do have failures sometimes as well so its not just troopers

erm - started it.. after a month of her standing on the drive - looking grumpy - first turn of the key and "whup whup vroooooommm..." :mrgreen:

Martha's been sat there for a looking at me.. been a busy puppy at work and working away a fair bit.. oh - and found a puddle of water underneath - think the rads on its way out..

No fear though.. I salvaged the rad from Knuckleskinner before it went off to become a washing machine :dance:

might have a play later, going to whizz to hellfrauds and get some antifreeze and then 'possibly' :roll:

stop in the pub on the way back... :drink:

today i have started to get mine ready for a tripto scotland and back, took the tyres to get turned around

Trip to Andysd1's, fitted URL sticker, refitted rear view mirror, fitted aux 12 socket kit to dash, fitted Kenwood speakers into doors (all credit goes to Andysd1 for his help :dance:

) and after i thought i had seen it all andy goes and pulls a bag of PINK :shock:

LED bulbs out of the door pocket of the sport he's breaking starts looking at scorpion and smiling (obviously some very sick thoughts going through his head)

oh i hope he uses them, i left them there hoping he would find them and use them :lol:

following the failure in obtaining a valid MOT cert, due to emissions...spent a touch over £87 for a new cat from Mr Exhaust (thanks to ARMYOF1 for the link) should be with me tomorrow. so fingers crossed..

Got a couple of days booked off work for the Mad March Weekend... first task, take the Sport to the garage, fill up with fuel then a 6 minute jet (power) wash, then a normal jet wash (with soap and a broom) then another 3 minute jet (power) wash to clean the bay.

Next, back home to sweep the mud from two events that had fallen on the road where the Sport is normally parked - neighbour caught me stashing mud under his shubery, but I convinced him it was good top soil :wink:

Next task, off to Sutton Park to find a couple of big trees to park between and attempt to winch out the deformed winch bumper - didn't go as well as I had hoped, but at least I can now open the bonnet.

Finally, back home to sort out the camping gear for the journey out tommow.

Took dashboard to bits hoping to fit some funky new dash bulbs given to me by andysd1 only to find they were not the right type :cry:

ended up snapping hinges on the glovebox trying to get to one last hidden screw so will araldite the hinges back together later :oops:

and refit, ordered new exhaust from CAT to rear and 3 gaskets (tail, mid section and manifold to head) all in £111.13 :dance:

and will arrive on monday or tuesday, and gonna get new cam belt sometime in the next couple of weeks as the one on mine is looking a bit worse for wear despite note in fronty pack stating it had been done in december :evil:

I gave Beasty a quick clean ready to take Chel out for her birthday meal. :dance:

cleaned the rest of the residue off of my truck that was still on it after jet washing it earlier in the week & found loads of new scratches :cry:

most of them should polish out though

Jet washed mine at a petrol station today after last weekend and realised I still have all the 20 year old scratches I had before and the mud didn't fill them in permanently, which no amount of polishing will remove .... I can see a respray coming on

Just as long as it ain't CAT yellow...AndySD1 will get jealous. :lol lol:
