WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!

I took my Beasty up the A1M to take a visit to Robbie, and whilst doing so, I gave her a bit of a blast out...sits at 90mph...even on an uphill section. I finally got the temp gauge higher than the quarter mark...went up to half. Very impressed. Oh...and (( :shock:

)) decided to sell her after the Annual event...due to a change in plans (Chel wants to learn to drive, and both trucks are too big for her, and NO WAY am I selling Chugga).

If you mean my vids Dazz, they aren't very exciting , but wanted to get an idea of what the quality was like from a BlackBerry. Pretty happy with them to be honest.

Bust my clutch slave cylinder 100 yards into the Thetford Forest run. Called the RAC and with his help along with the fellow FOG Marines ("We won't leave a Fogger behind!") was up and running again after 1 1/2 hours after sourcing a brand new replacement (amazingly) just down the road.

Then went on to have an amazing days green laning around Thetford Forest.

Cheers to all you guys for hanging back and waiting for the repairs. It was a brilliant day out and thoroughly enjoyed it.

got my truck covered in mud & crap with a good bunch of guys on the thetford forest laning trip

Took it for a run - from sea level to an altitude of 920 feet in approx 1.5 - 2 miles. Used 4wd lo for part of the climb to prevent any ecologically unacceptable vehicle "footprint" and made it above the snow-line.
Downside - camera chip went u/s so will have to consult someone to recover the pics.

Picked this little lot up for £25 today. Not bad me thinks

Had the gearbox and[code][/code] flywheel off to replace the leaking rear crankshaft seal. Put on an SKF speedy sleeve to to ensure a proper seal. Also beaded the outer rim of the seal with silicon gasket to make sure it will seal 100% there as well. Now I really hope it will keep the oil inside the engine and away from my garage floor!

Not much today, just washed the 2.3 - still deciding what to do with it.

Then the Pick Up for the MM weekend.

found out i needed a new rig for my cb after buying a new mic and bracket for my old one o well

picked 4 bf goodrich mud tyres on peperpots and 5 split rim alloys up of sooty

just need to put some air in them and then back in the shed they go untill there needed

today i picked up my door again (had to leave it some where last night).
then i jacked it up and changed the tyres and did an oil/oil filter change on it, and it looked like it needed it.

as well i did some work on my bro's honda civic type r, and proved that halfords can be cheep :butt:

with the trade card, got him a wiper blade for £2

Did'nt do anything to the truck, but used it's revovery equipment.

Spent some quality time with my father in his garden, removing an old holly tree stump. Hooked up the trifor to an apple tree with a strop and shackle, and then to another holly - made the job so much easier.

Both he and I were drinking tea on the patio when Mother returned from church.
