Just a Quick FUDSTER FRACTURE update .......

Been to the hospital today to see a consultant and it's a tad worse than I expected.

There is a possiblity that my shoulder bone may need to be pinned and screwed into place. I need to go back next week to have more x rays, then i will know more.

The whole recovery process may take many months. :cry:

So i'm definately sitting here feeling sorry for myself. The happy pills they gave me to easy the pain are continuosly making me sleepy and drowsy and i'm fed up of been stuck in the house, already after only 2 days.

Is the pin to hold the scapula together as it nits, or is it to bolster the socket? met lots of guys who had pins to stop frequent dislocations, it wasnt very successful ( Ok so 15 years ago). Cured mine with weightlifting and let the surgeon keep his mits off.
