Okay, just let me then :shock:

got it a set of new boots and full filter service. looking at timing belt next weekend

oil and filter change .......... rubbed down , filled and sprayed my bonnet .... sanding and filling did a great job i must say ! spraying mmmmmmmmmmmm :oops:

at moment im giving my engine bit of a clean make sure everything connect right and at moment flushing water out if rad topping the coolant up basic stuff but it what im doing today
need to do the dash fix on mine later on aswell just fitting it into my drinking schedule then remove bass box out boot and hoover and cast a side for abit im giving it a good valet

Went outside, had a look at the truck, thought to bloody cold to do anything plus i'm still waiting on parts.
So went back indoors sat down with a coffee and watched telly :lol:

Done a bit of sound deadening last week,a trip to the scrap yard,picked up three under the hood sound deadening mats the cleanest i could find £5.
First job engine bay,using thin cardboard as a tem/plate i cut out the shapes on the existing sound deadening material on the inner bulk head,then cut out the pieces from one of the mats,using spray on glue i've doubled the thickness of the sound deadening,next over the wheel arches including under the air box.
Inside the cabin,passenger and drivers footwell,right under dash it was bare metal on mine,cut to shape and glued on,making sure the hot air outlet was'nt obstructed,and all three pedals could be depressed.
Next,under the back seat using one of the mats cut to fit no glue the seat holds it in place.
In the boot,removed the plastic trim from around the wheel arches cut to fit on the bare metal then glued on,at the same time i cut out a piece of thick foam back carpet i had in the garage and put it under the boot carpet then replaced all the trim.
The back door,took off the plastic covering and with my last mat,i cut to shape on the metal side and glued on i was going to do all four doors but i ran out of material,plus there was the electrics to consider.a job for the future perhaps!!
Did it work,...sort of,...at tickover and low speed there's an inprovment,at a higher speed..the jury's still out :wink:

re painted towbar with hammerite spray , removed genuine vaux sidesteps as the top plastic bits were coming away from the frame and one of thems rusted through, pro's = i can now crawl below the truck easier, can wax polish the sills easier. cons = the sidesteps kept the side of the wagon cleaner, you can see more 'bits' hanging below - it looks kinda naked.

I didnt do anything to my Fronty today but I did this job to my caravan though. :rotfl:

Got me a virtually brand new rad for 25 sheets. Very happy with that

Today i bled the clutch on Chrissy's truck co's it was playin up. The crap that came out was awful so i thought i would give mine ago, that was the same. Looked more like black paint than oil. Also on inspection Chrissy's needs a new rear crankcase oil seal. Mine's going to need a new clutch no ajustment left on it and it virtualy on the floor to disengage. Oh well 2 more gearbox's to take off, getting used to them now!!!

changed 10 wheels, with a bit of help, and waved Pindy goodbye :wave:

my day trip, i went to meet pindy,

started out great, galaxy passed its mot, back in storage for 12 months after today,

shot home picked up jack and stand, got about three miles, and turned back, doh, for got the bowel,

of i go again only to get stuck on the runcorn bridge for just over 1 hour, bloody painters,

finally got moving,

a few pics on route,

arrived, and got spotted

started to change wheels, well, i done the jacking, and CC, removed the nuts and wheels

CC, had dirty hands,

on my home, i ran in to some of drifty's lose woman

my only passengers,

home,

and the trust stead that got me there and back

oh she has a new name,
