Got home from work, found a parcel (thanks Colly :wink:

) got out of the shirt and trousers into my old gear, within ten minutes the new fuel filter and primer housing was fitted and the old girl running sweet as a nut, none of this DTI faffing around bleeding the system, loosen the 10mm nut, three or four pumps of the primer, with filter full of fuel, lock off nut, turn key, boom life in the engine first turn :dance:

Jobs a good, but no beer till Saturday :oh yer:

I removed my spare wheel and carrier off the back of my truck as the top hinge has gone.
Very weird being able to see out of the rear window with no tyre in the way

Well until Saturday, then the gearbox is being switched

I Changed some dash bulbs :drink:

Started the "must do before the MOT is due" list today...
So far i have got the hazard lights to work.
Removed the front bumper so i could fit the new SWB front wings on, and found more welding needs doing before the bumper can go back on :evil:

Hope it's dry tomorrow because it looks like i will have to get the welder out of the kitchen :lol:

Had a New windscreen fitted today. It was easier tan washing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Baz , how much did the screen set you back mate ?

Windscreen was a genuine insurance job, cost me £75 excess. A small chip in the black surround, I didn't know I had, spread into a crack during the -14 degree temps we had at Christmas.

I looked at Beasty....and thought how dirty she still was from Sunday at Clog. Will have to wait til Saturday for my day off. :shock:

Got all the welding sorted out on the truck today :dance:

Going to try to make the custom front bumper tomorrow, weather permitting

only the rear door handle, front wish-bone and drive shaft/CV joint to do now for the MOT

Lifted the bonnet,took one look at all the bits needing removing to gain access to the manifold and realised that the job is far too complicated for my limited abilities.

Closed the bonnet and got my young nephew to hoover the car out. :twisted:

Started making my lights cut a my old lightbar lights glass using a dremmel, rough fitted it tested it worked great then dropped the glass, so knowing it worked cut two more

Took the sunroof out to clean what I thought would be nearly clean seal. What a pile of rubbish came out the seal - grit, mud, green yuk and fir tree needles. Replaced the glass after polishing it and lubricating the two front edge hinge clip/pins to rid the crystaline deposits on them. Rain due tomorrow so will find out if head gets wet or not.

Well started mine up after 2 weeks of standing, had to use a jump pack but at least it still works. Gonna give it a hoovering out ready for its trip to Scouseland and take photos of everything on it incase it get taken off it by the reprobates up there!! (only jokeing Ste,Andy).

Fitted new rear tail pipe courtesy of milner 4x4, smuggled it through customs from the UK :twisted:

cheaper tahn buying one over here, the old one practically fell off, just need to source the 2 rubber straps that go near the silencer on the new tail pipe to finish job, local motor factors cant get :roll:

Gave it a good service and scrapped the rest of the chassis down, gave it a good coating of KUrust and sprayed it all with hammerite. Just got another coat to go on monday then off to MOT :shock:
