WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!

Removed my front to back brake pipes.... all the nuts were seized on so just cut the pipes and put a ring spanner on them

then proceeded to clean seal and spray the chassis where the nice shiny new ones will run. Unrolled my new copper pipe and realised that I'll need another length..... :oh yer:

So proceeded to replace one of them for now and 1st thing tomorrow off to euro car parts for some more copper pipe to do the rest. So hopefully come tomorrow afternoon all will be sorted :dance:

Thought i'd sort out the towbar electrics , so decided to find out if the car or trailer electrics were at fault. turns out they were both garbage, so ended up replacing most of it. I hate scotchlocks!!!

I had put some redex for diesel in the lwb yesterday an ran it today moving pub fridges from family bar to a restraunt an swapped it for thier old one, then colloceted an under counter freezer amazing the room. I didnt notice much diffrence but after a 100 mile i got above 2500rpm i had fogotten it wss the fact i over took two cars on motorway at70mph i usually lose puff instead of gaining speed. Not convinced yet though might been fluke

went to put some cat stickers on her, oh wait i dont have any, lol :wink:

tried my new shackles for size & after a bit more fettling they now fit

then did some gardening

blew a coolant hose off my egr, least ways that's what i think it's called, lost all my coolant, but thankfully clocked that something was up before it all went peet tong, fixed hose (found it hadn't been circlip'd back into place) refilled coolant, and all good.

also ordered some wind deflectors for me lwb, they should arrive tomorrow

Got the 90 out of the workshop and home and the 2.8lwb in there in its place....

Ripped off the bonnet (repainting it) and scuttle panel to find out where water was coming into the car...found handfuls of the woods blocking up all the drain holes...cleared it all out...
Stripped out the centre console bits and gearlever/ wiring from in the hole in preparation for pulling the gearbox out one evening this week..
And had a general tidy up...

took mine for its mot today,she passed

steamed cleaned the alloys

Finished the break pipes

. Had to go get a factors to flare the ends for me as the elcheapo kit I got on ebay is just the pants :evil:

But finally they're all done. Now just the cv gaitor and should be all ready for a shiny new MOT :dance:

I just fitted the passenger seat in and just got the drivers seat to fit and then its onto getting it ready for its mot which Im hoping to have it done in 2 or 3 weeks time.

After months of farting about trying to get my muddies balanced on my alloys I eventually came across a tyrehouse that would do the job for me. He spent 45 mins on just one tyre getting it right :oops:

360grammes of weight needed :shock:

on that one, and 100grammes on the other front wheel. The difference is immense. So HiQ tyres in Queensferry , Deeside I salute you!

Oh and he only charged me a fiver for each wheel

Fitted a bar today after picking it up from local breakers for the bargain price of £10 pounds
