I took it to get washed after fixing the window again. went to one of those jet wash things i wasnt washing it forgot how shiny it can be when its clean i havent washed it since the july

Been to insideout4x4 today to get my recovery shackles.

Ahhemm cracked my windscreen and it wasn't long ago it was fitted :sick:

Modded my air intake at long last to raise it up about 12 inches with some corrugated tubing. I'm pretty sure I can hear the 'suck' of air now, either that or I have developed an exhaust blow at the same time I fitted the airbox pipe

Nothing ....again, its like a car parts whorehouse in my car at the moment, full of lots of goodies I should really fit and sort out :oops:

So as I am servicing a mates petrol Picasso tomorrow and fitting an inline heat thingy to my mates Musso it would be rude not to tickle my car a bit while my oil pants are on :lol:

Gutted my 2.8 wont run on veg :evil:

my mate Ged can get 400l for £50 :shock:

and we have access to 10 times as much up north a few hours drive

Simon, thats your turbo sucking air not your exhaust, you can hear it as you have brought the intake near to you, I think it sounds ace

i needed new front shocks but don't have a lot of money this time of year so had a look on ebay for a cheap set for now and found two new front shocks (lip 4x4) for £5 each so ordered them. fitted them on tuesday

Well today I tested the load carrying capacity. Pretty good as it turns out. Must have been well over a tonne of logs/wood in the back today, and the bog standard suspension only dropped about an inch. Couldn't really tell the difference in performance either. Result!

I think I have stopped the mini oil leak on the front of the Transfer case

the only pain was the snapped bolts on the transfer guard grrr two snapped and I had to drill them and replace but jobs a goodn.

I then did a service on a neighbours, thing :oops:

a Hyundai 12v thing :lol:

got me a case of beer :dance:

Then I cleaned out all the bits from inside my car and banged them in the shed and hen fitted a pair of these to my front doors

And got carried away and fitted an inclinometer :dance:

I like the electronic compass thingy Ste. Where'd ya get that from :?:

Sorry no, the compass, that was from Ebay, its an inside and outside temp reader and ice alert, also battery volt reader, compass.
It cost a tenner a couple of years ago, I have never seen one the same since

well gave mine its 3000 mile oil change and while i was at it as it has covered nearly 7 thousand since i changed oil filter changed oil filter , air filter and diesel filter as it was cheaper to buy the 3 as a package off flea bay

Fitted my front recovery shackle.

Couldnt fit my shocks due to losing my locking wheel nut key :twisted:

Will have another look for it tomorrow.

between yesterday and today

Removed dash and replaced heater matrix - I now have heat (if you can call it that on a 2.8 :lol:

) in the cab

Removed head lining and cleaned it
Stripped down the winch mount, rubbed down, primed and repainted
Fitted 12500lb winch

Cleaned rubber on sunroof, in hope it will stop the leak

Tomorrow - wash, polish, & hoover and weekly levels check
