fixed the washers on the 2.3td,fingers crossed for the mot for it on monday

Fitted new MAF which has made a hugeeeeeeee difference. It actually feels like there is a turbo on it now

Checked the oil for laning tomorrow and the dipstick was dry :shock:

Free'd off the rear caliper (again!) and swapped the wheels in an attempt to sort the mega wheel wobble I've got

Needless to say all it did was change the speed range that it wobbles in.

Aren't there any tyre houses that will balance these things ? ATS told me yesterday that he wouldn't even entertain trying as it would likely screw up the calibration on his machine :shock:

Vaguely organised the boot, i reckon it'll stay all nice and tidy for bout 10min then i'll need something, also got a 60 LED work lamp thing from Chlas Ohlsen for £7, things pretty bright even in daylight

topped up the oil,
Greased the front axle and all the universal joints, (along with any other grease nips I could find)
put about 40 ltrs of fuel in it..the light had come on and now I have 3/4 of a tank, I don't trust the light anymore (well since it came on once and I ran out of fuel 6miles later)
cleared a whole bin bag of **it out of it
took the 3 civic wheel out of it (other one is on the punto and the punto one is at work..don't ask)
emptied the ashtray..

thats it really

it wasn't the the fastest thing in the world to start with and with the front caliper sticking it was a bit slower :lol:

. Getting a bit of a pain having to try and avoid using the breaks

don't think we will have time to do it tomorrow morn mate, so we'll leave that for another day..I've only got a 2ltr so it's not like i really need brakes...cant get fast enough

why do you think I was going so fast, when i passed you on the m57? was still trying to slow down from coming down the hill from saddleworth moor after picking up some wheels for the wife's new civic in leeds..

Should only take the time it takes to undo the nuts and bleed nipple and do em back up again :wink:

extended my rear diff breather, was a it puzzled at first, as could not see where it was, few stickers in place, and gave her a wash, nice and clean, ready to get it dirty,
