Tomorrow I recheck the oil and check all bolts then put on its under shields & with a bit of luck might get the vacuum valvey things cleaned.
Fingers crossed that it is a goodun.

changed the front arb bushes , went to do the back and snapped 1 of the bolts , wouldnt care i was being very gentle and loads of wd40

just replaced the gearbox oil as i couldn't find any record of it being done in the service book ... just as well by the state of what came out :axe:

transfer box , front diff and engine oil to do next week , then that's me lot till the new year :mrgreen:

have to admit ... i double checked with the local motor factors to be certain ...

having said that , my old 2 ltr vec with a manual box had to be re filled with automatic fluid ... must be a gm thing :lol:

Took the Sport back up to the garage to have some work done prior to the MOT - the bit hadn't arrived, so brought it back home again - Rebooked it in for Thursday.

This is the bit I need (no 13)

A new one of them (£90) should really tighten up my steering an prevent wear on the idler and other steering components - I hope.
