Well it was yesterday but national windscreens came out and changed the screen on the insurance £70, Bloke kept saying how clean and tidy it was for a 17 year old truck :dance:

Rob You'll have to get one of them fold out steps like they have on camper vans!!!!!!!!!!! :mrgreen:

Today I had one last go with my windscreen washers as only one nozzle was working, I decided to get tough and broke the dremel out and used the small drill on the other nozzles, work perfectly now

I pulled a tree out of the middle of the road, wind is a bit strong today, but not as strong as the fronty!

i thought i would have a look why the 2.5 runs a little warm and here is what i found :shock:

the rad was caked in dry mud so was the oil cooler the air con thingy and the inter cooler an hour later i was left with a very messy drive but a nice clean rad :dance:

took her off road and got stuck slighlty, got out eventually with the help of some mdf i had in the back
changed the fuel filter, spark plugs and air filter (even though the previous owner said he had, trust me he hadnt)
and built boxing in the back for tools and stuff, well that wasnt today but a few ago

Mixed some red and yellow hammerite to get the orange i was after and painted my new diff cover in prep for fitting tomorrow.

attached the 2nd hand towbar i brought from mark at mg motors [ top bloke] & now my neck aches like hell after spending nearly an hour under emilys arse end, point of interest to anyone whose going to fit 1 in the future - fit the nearside chassis bolt first because all the sideways adjustment is on the offside one :oh yer:

fitted a roof rack and fitted a second hand glow plug relay that i got of ebay for £4.00 delivered

was advertised as a 2.0dti vectra relay but is the same part for a 2.5tds frontera.

At last !!! Got the wheels and tyres fitted. Sooooooooooooooooooo happy to get those miserable 15 inch steelies off :evil:

Last night went to change the clutch fluid and found the slave cylinder leaking, but as Im a hoarder I had a nice shiny new slave cylinder in my shed (£5 delivered ebay bargain) so changed that but could we hell as like bleed it in the dark, so got it usable but going to work this morning it had a very floppy pedal.
Had to wake the 16 year old thing up who lives in the bedroom at 0730 to press the pedal, 15 minutes later its as good as new :dance:

the teenage thing them slithered off back to bed :lol:

Still managed to get to work only 10 minutes late :lol:

What size u get?

Spayed loads of electrical parts with silicoln spray and loads of other bits i probably shouldnt of sprayed but never mind.
Had a small hole on the drivers side sill near the rear wheel so as a temporary fix i fut a cut a piece of transit van wall out and riveted it over the whole with some silicoln to seal it before i reweld a plate on the sill next week.
Sprayed the arches with That tarr like undercoat stuff. "Note to self, next time wear gloves :lol:
