its saturday, i done nothing,

Filled the fuel tank.

Woke up - checked pump reading and passed out again. :-)

Bought some white steel 8 spokes for it (7) with 4 decent tyres in there, possibly 5.
In anticipataion of some newbie green laning possibly....

fitted new anti roll bar bushes bought from milners - advice given on where to get by drift - top man they fit a treat :wink:

although i didnt belive it was possible to get so much dirt in my eyes - even with safety glasses on :shock:

Did the other drop link and then took her for a quick test drive. There is still a noise coming from under the truck when the front left hits a bump, but instead of a clunk it's more of a rattle now. It's quieter and less frequent than before and sounds like it's coming more from the middle.

I'm thinking maybe the clunking of the drop links was disguising this other noise.

Well oiled the K&N, then tried again to fix my CB, not a flippin chance, FAIL.

So consoled myself and fitted more lighting in my shed

(and tidied it a bit)

yesterday, i refited my caliper, thanks drift, now it works

Aha.. It"s not a shed, it's a surgery for sick Fronty bits. Nice one Dr. Drift.

washed and dried it this morning...then it rained , typical

Replaced front and rear disc's and pads, then changed the brake fluid. Now have to save for another MOT and road tax :cry:

today i have replaced one of the front wheel bearings it started making a noise a week ago and when i lifted the front off the floor the amount of play in it was unreal. Had thought about just tightening it up but when i took the bearing out you could feel it nipping up under load.

Fitted new belts for alternator and AC/servo. What a job, puh. The tensioner bolts for the alternator is a real pain to get to on the 2.8, hidden under the AC. Actually took me nearly four hours to complete, struggling with awkwardly positioned and stuck bolts. Nice to have it done though. No more screaming belts in the morning :-D

The belts have been hanging in my garage for half a year now, me dreading the task... :wink:

Took the Trooper to the new job and got accused of it being a Discovery with the wrong badges. Almost chinned the blighter until I realised he was being serious. Had to show him all the Isuzu badges and Lotus Special Edition decals, and proper 4x4 drive train stuff to convince him otherwise

Well i got my truck back tonight,i had the clutch done and rear crank shaft seal done and what a deference :dance:

brout new tools for truck changed rocker cover gasket & air filter then washed it

I have done nothing to Tessie today as i have had the keys confiscated off me

apparently I'm unfit to do anything come to think :lol:

after a bottle of MOET & CHANDON :dance:

The only other thing i can do now is carry on drinking :drink:

& that drinking song would have to be ............................................

Well today i did :lol:

The tracking,it was out by 18mm,got it done at ATS £30 :shock:

that was cheap
Mounted a place on roof, for the farm jack
Replaced my roof light bulbs as they where crap,
Changed bulb in fog lamp,as one them packed up again :evil:

One side light bulb changed
Re silicone the air intake pips,and sprayed lube grease around the engine bay

Wire brushed half the tank guard....i need goggles else im gona be blind
Released fuel filter tap due to water in it to stop it being bit smokey

changed rear pads, just starting to scrape the metal on the olds ones :oops:

roughly did the tracking, hasnt looked right since the garage adjusted it following a slight bend to the arm, can now see why, no way did they move it! its taken heat and big hammer to free up but adjusted by eye and feels much better - now to get it checked accurately at another shop :wink:
