Looks like you got this job well in hand Rodney, My brother just crashed the one he is using/buying from me, not as bad as this but still a nice dent in the wing from the bull bars springing back.

Wonder if there is a collaboration between "wrap around bullbar" makers & body panel makers :wink:

Got a mate from the army coming over tomorrow morning to give me a hand putting the bullbars on.

I will try and remember to take some piccy's of the mountings and any mods I have to do to make them fit.

I have a plan! ( I think! )

Here goes!
As I only have one bolt in either side,rear hole on bars to front hole on chassis members, I am thinking about the possibilities of:-

Cutting some steel from the old bar mountings to make support struts.

I have holes already drilled in the sides of the bar mountings AND the sides of the chassis members.

I am thinking, if I can mount a strut on each side, that should give me some measure of stability.

The bars will still stick out a bit more than normal but, they shouldn't wobble up and down.

Has anybody ever done something like this before :?:

And is anybody free to give me a hand :?:

As it is only an idea, I am NOT going to try this without some help.

I would only screw things up!
