Physical help required with suspension replacement

because you are replacing the ball joints you dont need to worry about damaging them so dont bother getting the wind-up splitter, just the fork type that you hammer in, about a tenner from halfrauds

right then, saturday 10th.

its sorted now new spanky leaf spring on! was a bolt still on. jacked up more too which sorted it xx

How do you reconnect the axle to the leaf spring please? Have read the thread on leaf spring removal and installation but nothing on how to get it to fit into the axle. The spring is from milners not sure if we need to adjust it in any way first, would have thought that a replacement part would be just that.
Can someone please bring another jack tomorrow if they have one as we may need to put one under the spring to adjust it to fit it to the axle.

hi babe we'll be bringing another jack got a grease gun could do with a ball joint splitter gos some grease and copper grease for bolts

if i finish postfinders in time,i may get him to pop over,so we can lend a hand :wink:
