What happened Jase :shock:

I took mine for a 50 mile spin as its only done short journeys the last month or so, so needed to blow out some cobwebs.

i done some more rubbing down, and finaly got all the glue/sticky sponge of the back and the sides, done some more shut lines

Well,we,was coming back from loughborough as we stopped over night,for a wedding,and my wife to be was driving,and i was a sleep :drink:

then i got rudely awoken :roll:

by a big rumbling sound,and Claire trying to keep the truck on the road,got over to the hard shoulder, and it was smoking on the passengers side,i touched the wheel it was red hot,so we got it to the service station as it was only 400 yards, i had i look,and the wheel bearing has gone.

Me and my mate had a look this afternoon :shock:

what a mess,we should have it fixed in couple days :lol:

Today I fitted new rear shcoks ,new glow plugs cleaned the EGR valve and then put my feet up and watched the world go by.......... :axe:

changed transfer box oil and front diff oil. was going to do the rear but realised i didnt have the right hex :evil:

The big truck thing has MOT booked 4th Sept, just need to sort the steering as its a tiny bit vague but everything else looks/sounds and feels ok to me

Might ask the guy to leave the car on the lift so i can easily paint the fuel tank guard hehehe

I gave Greg a ring, and he said I could have them for £230 delivered, or £210 if I wanted to collect. So, should have them on Wednesday.

Well

Today, my mate dropped,the new bearing in for me,he managed to get one of the shelf,from vx, :dance:

And i fixed my hand brake,all works,but looks like i will have to new the front pads,and back pads soon,ow well

Just waiting for my new clutch to come and new seal,as the clutch center,has ran out so fingers crossed should all be done at the end of the week :lol:

well last week fitted my new rear lights i wanted the brava look ones but they sent me the lexus ones , as the lexus ones were more expensive i decided to keep them and not say anything :lol:

, also found out brava lights and izusu pickup lights are a direct fit for the frontera , modded a fog light into lexus lights (well put a red bulb in one of the reversing lights), fitted my led hight markers on the rear, also fitted chrome indicator bulbs to the lexus lights and leds for the tail/brake lights

well yesterday, repaired my old wiring to my spot lights on the bumper cause one shorted out in the rain and melted the wiring as the fuse didn't blow :shock:

today done oil and filter change and fitted my sump plug drain thing (thanks fog for the sugguestion at top of genral discussion page :dance:
