Over weekend I did 2 inch body lift - home made snorkle and replaced both fuel pipes , already done 2 inch suspension lift

, won't attach pic as says board attachment quota reached

brought the tonka to work today and in my break at 11 im gonna take the windows out for the ride home in the sunshine then park up put the windows back in then beer and football

discovered that my rear offside brake/hub is getting slightly hot...well very hot, too hot to touch to be honest.

job for tomorrow, as I have to watch a bunch of overpaid girl guides play a team from some country that i can't even find on a map. and then I might have to get drunk to ease the pain and all the "funnies" from north of the border..

back to brakes....can't be the hand brake, as I done that a little while back (post lift) and they wouldn't even hold the car that well anyway (just enough to pass the MOT) so I'm suspecting the caliper is sticking (wheel is getting very dirty with brake dust, otherside clean as a whistle)...failing that i'm going down the route of warped disc. Mind you the tyre was a little low (12psi :shock:

) but that shouldn't account for all the brake dust should it?

Cleared out the drain tubes from the sunroof. Found both sides full of crud. Fixed the sunroof latch so it now sits flusher. Still have a dodgy passenger electric window though no matter what I do.

took head off 2.8 sent away to be skimmed replaces radiator on my 2.2 and replaced wrap round on 2.2 with a better one no rust

Found one of my front shocks had snapped so had to bite the bullet and get new ones got thses for 90 quid from my local factors

got really really annoyed with the squeak coming from the spare wheel carrier on trip shopping nipped into halfords and stocked up on WD40 and some cutting disc's just in case

now just have to work out where to put the bloody spare wheel

ok this isant today but this is whats planned for the weekend, change air filter, change oil/oil fiter, drop the water system replace thermostat and refill with antifreeze, and maybe have a look at the backend to see why it is so tail happy (every time it goes over a bump the tail trys to swing out,

I got a bit further with a caliper refurb, pinched an hour to clean it up.

And yes the shed is starting to look like/as messy as another certain admins garage/workshop :lol:

Well today i had a CB fitted that my Bobby bought me ready for the East Midlands meet. It will be the first meet that i have had my own truck (Morgana) to take as i was normally bobby's pasenger. Cant wait till tomorow !!!

took her up to 90 on motorway no sorry on private road :oops:
