Today I cleaned the egr valve

and went for a spin in her,but has not solved the problem I have:evil:
I gave her some welly and, she :cry:

came back on a Eurotow recovery lorry :cry:

amp stopped :sick:

working so well gutted got find buy new amp

Started to deep clean the paintwork, and remove some of the scratches.
Washed all the mud off
Fixed the hazard light problem
Replaced a non working speaker
Did the LWB light conversion
Cleaned a bit more of the interior
Ordered the manual hubs

Crawled underneath to have a look at the exhaust because I'm thinking of doing a de-cat
Filled it up with diesel (ouch!)

Finally fitted me side exit exhaust needs a bit of tinkering now to get clear a few bits and bobs pics later :wink:

Just drove her...chuffed as she is running better than ever

as smooth a a 2.8 can run and rather perky to I must say :drive:

well i fitted my new amp as old one blew up lol rough looks better than this honest

Changed Bulbs in my roof lights, so know they work pics to come when the darkness comes

Fitted my AVM manual hubs

stuck a fire extinguisher in

Looks like an O.S roamer to me Ste .... so that would be Scotland area guidance device to aid...............................roamin in the glomin :wink:

I was going to say a Silva but the lanyard is yellow, think theirs are red :rotfl:

Fitted new rocker cover gasket and discovered that one bolt had been previously snapped and stuck back in with silicone sealant :shock:

got the rest of thread out with no effort at all :shock:

so cleaned top up and refitted with new O rings and gasket and 10 nice shiney new bolts (which i had to go out and buy new star sockets as VX changed the design from hex to star :evil:

)

ok ask asked by drinks optional there is a pic inside the cab with the lights on as you can see it doesnt light up the dash :party:

Bled clutch AGAIN - fluids gone dark (in a couple of weeks?) and the biting point is low - funny feeling its the master cylinder seals... no leaks or loss of fluid.. week off next week so a strip down is on the way if i can find a overhaul kit.

Today I took the bullbars off and started to strip the paint/plastic cover. It was spotted, heavily rusted and the plastic peeled off nicely with the help of a knife :-)

After hammering the rust off it seems I have to take the welder out for some play to fix a few holes in the tubing

Rusted through a couple of places :axe:

Rust treatment and then a cover of fresh paint.

What's the origin of the stainless bullbars I see on the forum? Though I'm nearly half finished with restoring mine now I might like to swap them for stainless later
