Took out the centre console.Found that the gearstick was loose.Tightened it up Hoped this would sort my gears out.But it didnt i still can only drive in 4th gear.Looks like gear box out job on saturday.Possibly a new bo :cry:

Yep,actual damage was bent pushrods caused by the belt snapping at about 1600 revs,fitted new belt c/w idler & tensioner pulley`s,replaced pushrods set tappet gaps & the job`s a good un :dance:

Yesterday Horses45 came to mine we had a Mini Mini meet. Put new pads on his truck and some front recovery shackels then on to the little hole in the sill !!!! :oh yer:

Trev, Ive had mine fitted under there for a couple of years, the shackles dont easily corrode unless damaged.

I keep a shackle fitted to both ends of my ropes and strops to link in with the fitted ones, not good for compatitions but more than enough and safe enough for what I use the car for, green laning and the like. :wink:
