I thought about selling my trusted old Fronty this year...I need more space in the car. I´m getting a American foxhound in April, and need to get into the woods later this year...Sport has to go, and it´s a shame, it has been the best car i´ve ever owned...

Checked and topped up oil

Found oil leak and fixed it, just a pipe thankfully, went to change fan belt and tensioner but snapped the power steering tensioner :evil:

Another job for the morning as its really wet fog out there now :roll:

Also got a brand new 59 plate astra all leather sat outside and I cant drive it as insurance has balled up :evil:

andysd1 and others, You are still welcome here, my offers are still "on". Me driving a Fronty or not. Long Fronty would be good choice perhaps, but i think that i´m slipping in Terranos...

I was repairing the body work with some filler and elbow grease i done the bonnet and the sill. i was quite impressed with my handy work, shame i never used a spray can in my life this should be intresting i may have to start again

Replaced thermostat again!! Going to start buying them in bulk! Then spotted some critter had chewed through my battery positive lead and there went the afternoon :oh yer:

took the radiator and the fan out in prep for removing the old air con unit,

Fitted new alternator and power steering belt and a new tensioner nut for the power steering :evil:

ironically I replaced the Alternator tensioner yesterday :roll:

Now Im wet and fed up :evil:

Adjusted my front wheel bearings, had an advisory on last MOT for off-side excessive play.

Another thank you to FOG for the info on adjusting them, love this forum, it's saving me a fortune doing everything myself

Quick question, is there any point me getting a Haynes manual for layout of things and wiring diagrams or too many differences with my B?

The haynes can be handy but sometimes it goes the long way around or misses bits out, today for instance to loosen the power steering adjuster it pointed at two bolts holing the pump on to loosen, didnt even mention the hidden bolt behind the pump just lucky Ive been at it before and new about it.

So its can be helpful but best check on here
