took exhaust manifold off as its done cant weld it tried been done toooooooooooooooo mant times so after a new or second hand one happy days

I collected this today

then fitted it (only took about 10 min)

also put new bulbs behind gauges
and adjusted the hinges on drivers door so it shuts tight
now time for a drink :drink:

I bled the brakes today witout engine running starting at the rear,took it for a spin round the block the brakes stop but pedal still goes to floor must be some air still there will give it aquick bleed tomorrow.
Filled the cooling sytem with anti freeze and water let it heat up the second hand radaitor was fine .
The battery needs a good charge as it wont start without a jump.
The alarm kept going off 8 mins after locking will check the forum for a solution.
Tomorrow i will try make a cover for tank guard to hide the rust holes using sheet metal to shape of tank guard hopefully be able to get it booked in this week for the MOT fingers crossed.

temp was 4c today hopefuly it will stay that way

went over to pick up some new wheels/tyres from Yaki, couldn't get them in the truck so ended up braving the cold to fit them....

Took the li'll white leafer for a rumble over to Maidstone to take roma for a walk in deep snow as most of its melting over here on the island....
Had a nice trek round Mote Park, Roma loved it...

Then drove up the SE playsite woods to have a gander....bloody hell!!!
15" of virgin snow in there ready for next weekends antics...its gonna be a fun one for certain!!
This is a kinda massive result, as you cant plan an event to be in the snow cos you never know when its coming, which will bring a whole new dimension to our offroadin, but by luck it looks like there will be plenty of white stuff up there....granted a bit might thaw...but by experience up my workshop nearby, the snow really hangs around up there...

Its gonna be wicked, and cold, but wicked all the same!!! Cant wait!!!

think there is still one in my mums loft, put one there a good few years ago,

my mrs wants one for our dinning room

Solved yet another annoying rattle.

this one occured when accelerating at town type speeds (25-40mph) and was more pronounced when changing gear.

reason for annoying sound....Stupid chrome looking bit of plastic covering the rear hub thing. Darn thing was just sat there rattling away making me think that the springs or release bearing on the clutch were on their way out. fix..pulled it off.

(never heard any of these noises when the autohub circlip was nackerd, apart from the rattling exhaust bracket)

fixed the dash (hopefully) can not check until injectors come back from cleaning and renewal, but while the dash was out, i replaced the large white bulbs for blue Leds,

Fitted a new radiator as the old one was leaking and gave her a well needed wash.
