Finished off the winch and started the cb wiring

Sorted customs gubbins so Parcel Farce can deliver my Aisin hubs :dance:

I got dragged out shopping wanted to fit new radiator

on sunday, replaced fuel filter , removed EGR as gasket gone cleaned parts up and re-fitted with 3 new gaskets , runs loads better now :dance:

Tried to sort out why I was getting very little hot air from the heater, flushed the pipes, then managed to shear one of the thermostat bolts off

Even worse found there was only 2 holding it on in the first place, stuffed!
Have to get a mechanic out now to re tap them. I must learn to leave things alone. :cry:

Replaced Freya's balding and cracked rear tyres as CT (MOT) next week. Easy job, just "borrowed the rear wheels off Fifi till I can afford replacements.

I done the radiator swapped old for a second hand one man that is the easiest radaitor to do 8 minutes to remove and fit

Drove it round to AndySD1's so he could check my Aisin hubs are all there (which they are :dance:

) and then we installed my posh aeroblade winscreen wipers with buit in washer jets (haven't hooked those up yet though) and he sprayed carb cleaner down one of the pipes so she runs a bit better

following fitting my new exhaust last saturday, i now have a new MOT - 2 minor advisories but everything else all OK. Here's to another year!!!

Clipped off accelerator cable and gave it about 30 good squirts of M2OS oil and yanking, got out about a table spoon of brown gunk at the diesel pump end

The treatment seems to keep it from seizing up in in the cold, it's minus 4 degrees C now and everything works fine :dance:

Had some fun in the snow yesterday

and was thinking about giving it a try up some old dirt tracks in the woods tomorrow. But now I've got about half a meter with snow tonight, so I reckon it will be hard to remember where all holes and rocks are hidden under the snow... Better wait until it thaws again :cry:

I looked at it today, but thats all as im still waiting for parts

Checked all the levels and went for a drive.

Complete coolant change on both Fifi and Freya ( and the wifes little Aixam). Adjusted handbrake, did oil & filter, and took rear seats out of Freya. Took a little drive out just for the fun.
