Well, here's my list...
2.2 Ecotec LWB, 1996. Been in my posession since last December, and my sister's for the 2 years previous. In her time, all we had to worry about was the bonnet catch going u/s (still does that occasionally now), and the indicator stalk refusing to give us full beam... Nothing major there.. Since I took over we've had: Approx 110,000m - Rear diff seized on motorway at 70mph. New rear axle £150 delivered, fitting £220ish with fluids Approx 110,000m + a little bit - Engine gives up the ghost, probably pistons £600ish for a new Fronty to steal engine from, etc... Jim...

ermm where do i start with whats gone wrong first has to be blown rad, driving it home from the dodgy dealer i got it off.. then getting towed back there from the AA second run out of diesel on way home from picking it up aweek later from said dealer.. with no warning i might add, happend just off the aston express way on the roundabout by what is now matalan that night alarm goes off when i park up and go into chinese to buy mate a meal for following me to make sure it was ok on drive back from dealer.. constant alarm problems till i find a fix by leaving the door open with the engine running then locking it and turnign off the engine then closing the door lifting the handel.. flooded the engine compartmet driving trough a deseptive puddle on way back from a meal in suttton cofield. drove round watching the lights inside and out dimming while driving in heavy rain to pic someone up at newstreet to go watch a gig.. got stranded as car was dead when it stopped.. so had to get a trailer home via AA via some local dude for £50 cash.. as he was doing another job going my way, which he couldnt do both at the time so he came back for me, which was really dencent of him.. bakes gave out and the pedel was like hitting a rock when you pressed it, (it still has this fault) starter moter is jammed so i am in process of replacing it.. back rear n/s window was smashed dunno how... so i replaced did a rubish job and tried to redo it and it fell out and broke so i have a hole where glass should be, wanted to get someone like autoglass to fix it but they want £200 + to fix it so it has to wait.. all the tyres are nearly bald, or have punctures.. fog spots never worked so i ahve unwired them. and im gonna replace them.. oh yeah the heater wont blow hot air. at all after an hour it might be lukewarm... but thjats it even on full Edit: it cuts out on deselleration from driving over 40 mph like on a motorway as you come to stop at the round about at an exit etc.. the fuel gauge doesnt give much warning that you are out of gas.. the rear seatbelts were fryed im replacing them [/i] ![]()

Yep Im fine and the only damage is to the rear drum case which too the brunt of the damage.
The thing that p***ed me off was the Landlord of the pub I managed to pull over by, Firstly complained that the tow truck was blocking his carpark and then informed me he had heard the crash 45 MINUTES before but hadnt come out to check if I was ok. However a guy in a DISCO Any ideas how much a new rear drum brake is to replace??
