It was once said that the Devil would never dare to cross the River Tamar into Cornwall for fear of ending up as a filling in a Cornish Pasty.
Re: Whats your view? Red Diesel.when i had an old fourtrak it ran better on red than on white , or maybe it was my pocket telling me it ran better.
why not chuck a bottle of blue food dye in the tank ? you cant use red diesel but there is nothing to say you cant dye your white diesel purple. a lot of diesel thefts so if anyone tries to sell me purple diesel i know its mine , officer !

Re: Whats your view? Red Diesel.Red diesel is not just 'Dyed' White diesel. They have a chemical difference.
Additives like 'red X, dye the diesel red - what do you now if pulled over? I myself add 2 stoke oil into my tank sometimes to help lubricate the pump - the oil turns the fuel red! If you do get pulled it is up to the HMRC to prove it is actual red Diesel. This is done by a chemical test (red diesel have a different additives and chemicals) to can be proven in court that beyond reasonable doubt that red diesel being used. Note The difference with the Smokey exhaust is down to the chemical differences.
