Dan, memory jogs, on Angelina, every now and again, the slave cylinder would get an air lock or water build up and would give the same symptoms. Basically all that needed to cure it was to crack open the bleed nipple and clear fluid would come out, when it turns black, nip it up........gears again....

Could be...but that wouldn't cause the grindy sound when the clutch is pressed? I'll try and post a video in the next day or so

Clutch fluid shouldn't be black. That is a sign the seals are gone or the oil is contaminated. It should be a light brown colour.

Lol remember we are talking about my truck...its lucky it has oil were its meant to lol...we'll worry about the colour later

my mistake neil, i meant brown. just wait for the water to stop and air, then the fluid comes out, then top up the res
