Re: V6? or Diesel? Or what engine?The 2.2 DTI's are all right, had mine a couple of years now. The inlet manifold does get gunked-up though, so be prepared for that job.

Re: V6? or Diesel? Or what engine?My dti has served me well in the year that Ive had it. Only things that have gone wrong with it are due to the things I drive it through....drive it into heverly silted up water and you have to expect oil seals to get buggered
Its not really a secret that the 2.2 petrol Bs have a few problems....and as far as I know the v6 is the most bomb proof engine you can get in a B....just dont go into water with it lol. Ive looked at 6 v6's, some private sale, some traders. All have been over priced against their condition. So for the time being, ive given up. I'll hang on now to my sport, and start looking after winter.
