Personally I prefer the Omega. I used to have one. 3.0MV6 Auto with full Recaro leather option. Used it as a taxi. I miss that car. VERY fast and comfortable.

Omega's were good - Senator 24valve V6 went like stink - 160mph, thank you very much.

Only one that has failed on me majorly is the last one. But the 98 Frontera is the one that I am probably most attached too.

Looking at some of our members we could be here all week on post......

I had the R reg Ford Mondeo 2.0l i until the head gasket went on me doing 60mph on the M8, that was fun. :oops:

Had RR hybrid running a Mazda 3.5 ltr TDI on 33 x12.50 R 15 Grabber AT2s, it took 2 years to build. Ran it for just short of three years, bought the Fronty and sold the RR on.

Awsome off road and comfy too. but not a practical everyday car.

Before my Frontera was my Cavalier SRi Ecotec ... started life in plain white ... finished in Matt Black

As an aside I had another Cavalier after the Fronty (a V6 that time) then the Trooper

Astra diesel estate, which was fine ,but I needed a more butch estate car,and the Frontera fitted the bill.

i had a lwb vitara, it was ok but more expensive to modify compared with a fronty,at the end of the day in my book the fronty wins hands down

My previous car was a Scooby Legacy.

I also have a Shitroen Picasso

and its diesel

cheap as chips and about as exciting.

But the scooby...... oh my word i mourn that car EVERY day
