I regret my reason is more mercenary: we've bought a property in Croatia. I'm currently working for the EU in Bosnia.
However, on the charitable front: my wife and I did the Macmillan 4x4 UK Challenge earlier this year in my Pajero Evolution (am I allowed to say that!!) - that was a charity event, fanastic fun and raised a quite few bob for the Macmillan cancer charity.
Our son took part in his Pajero as well. We can't do the 2007 event but he is; for the 3rd year running. http://www.mac4x4challenge.co.uk is his web site and has info on the event.
