Asda/Morrisons fuel price drop

It doesnt matter who drills the oil its the refineries that are all co-owned buy the big companies :wink:

not many refineries are owned by just one company even if the sign outside says so.

AFAIK it all comes from the 'Big Players' as they are the ones with the refineries the only difference being the adatives companies put in.

As I said, its all the same until the additives are added :wink:

No low grade or high grade, they all meet minimum standards, dont fall for the marketing hype. added octane booster and detergents but in the same fuel grade.

Depends how they store the fuel and clean tanks, from memory the was only Tesco that had a major issue a couple of years ago.

Even the tankers transporting the fuel can be contaminated buy water or cross fuel, diesel in petrol or visa versa and if super markets use there own trucks or dedicated contractors that is how they have fallen for the contamination, it would be more widespread had it originated at the refinery.

Think, if each chain had its own refinery we wouldnt be able to move for them all over the place :wink:

Well been Morisons again today and price has gone down again £1.12.9 lets hope these company's and the Government see sence that by having high fuel prices they criple the country in an instant.
