ok, this is what im after swb, arden blue, 2.2 petrol or diesel sport or sport rs , whatever comes up 1st. because ive limited my search, with the choice of colour.

not doing many miles 40 a week and only for 5months of year ( gives me 7mths a year to fix it lol), so more likely to be petrol, as there seem to be more about. like you say they all have there own faults, will just need to keep it maintained and hope the head gasket dont blow. im sure there are alot of 2.2 petrol out there with happy owners, who have had no probs.

whatever i get in the end, its gonna feel like luxury for 5mths , not like the 7mths in my mini.

i see the blue one i put a link up to in autotrader, for £2500 is now offering 12 months full AA warrenty, such a rip off tho, a week ago it was on ebay for £1995 and did not sell.

a bit of snow shows up and price goes uo £500. joke really. its worth £1500 max imo.

is it worty you emailing the seller & ask why its shot up in price & then offer him £1500 , its been up for months & if they want a sale you never know your luck :wink:

if you do go have a look make sure she goes up to usual running temp just over the quarter mark on test drive then leave it running for as long as you can when you park up, it might go up to the three quarter mark then fans cut in & take it down to quarter mark again,also check the oil filler cap for any signs of mayo :wink:

its got low mileage for a 10 year old car so id try & find out if the clocks have been changed in the past as theyre well known to play up so could have much higher miles
