Other motor is a Chevy S10 blazer, had a titchy 2.8 V6 in it when I bought it, couldn't pull the skin of a rice pudding, in a moment of madness I fitted a 5.7 litre V8, goes quite well now, starting to settle down to a steady 7mpg. Have to turn the engine off when I,m filling with juice to stop it gaining on the pump.

Mmmm, a lot of very individualistic people I'd say, who live their lives on their own terms. Most enjoy servicing and cleaning bikes and cars

The Skyline interested me. Now absolutely NOTHING pulls up alongside you on the offside at lights when you are in one of these!

Me? - Oh a Citroen Berlingo Multispace, - you know, with blue dashpanel, carpet, seatbelts (yes blue seatbelts!) and gear knob, legroom for giraffes, more boot space with seats up than the SWB Fronty has with seat folded! Dead handy and a surprisingly nice ride. Very rarely use the Astra Estate, eldest son uses it all the while, but I find it just an efficient means of transport now with no fun factor like the Frontera or Citroen. Still get the biggest buzz out of the Frontera though, just amble along at my own pace following that big chrome bar on the front. Don't attempt to keep pace with modern lightweight vehicles whilst going through the gears from stop, - still faster than most buses

and STILL under 70k miles!

ok ive got a 2.4 a series lwb,,,,,,and a old fashioned dawes 10 speed (count em 10 speed) racing bycicle,that i use to go to work on when i have had a drink the night before :roll:
