As many of you already know, the higher you lift the car the steeper the cv joints have to be. To a point where I now slice my cv boots off if I fully articulate (cv shaft touches outer edge of cup, boot gets pulled in and it cuts a very neat edge in 1 revolution)
1 solution is to lower the car a tad
2 solution, lower diff to bring it and the hubs back into alignment and keep the lift
I have a spare set of cv's and diff hangers, so it was just the effort missing to get into it. Oil seals are about £16 a set (they don't come off) bearings have come off, that get it stripped to the piccy with half shafts out.
I will do mine and if it works weld up the old ones, then mod them to pass on. You will need to re-use or replace your own circlips, seals and bearings.
Obviously will help out too.
Mods to members and trays TBA, have a spare member too, bring yer own bash plate (aint doin everythin)
