I had a sod of a time replacing the thermostat on the 2.2 Thats nice and easy to get at on the side of the engine with plenty of access space but the torx splines had stripped off. Now replaced them with proper ordinary bolts. old stat was USC

Well, its in, went quietly. Lost use of fingers doing large bolt on cooler up though. Havent got any anti freeze so instead of paying i fetched the egr off and the exhaust feed pipe. Time to blank them off at source.

Why do you want to blank off the egr on a petrol engine???
