CJ, I must say that yours must be the best case of "Showroom" standard I have seen. You've put a lot of hard work in to that truck and she does you proud

It's far from showroom - the lacquer is all but gone from the bonnet (must do something with it - anyone good at photoshop? Fancy seeing how a satin black bonnet wouold look) and it's a bit scrappy here and there but I suppose for a 15 year old, its pretty good.

I have to say I love driving it. No-one ever beeps at me in anger and I always get let out of junctions. No idea why.... :lol:

One guy did beep me actually from behind (I failed to signal before nipping into a space in town). He slowed down and came along side, staring and fuming. Then he looked up and up and up and up and up and realised I was way bigger than his wee box - heck my tyres were bigger than his doors. I actually saw him gulp and start to panic. I waved and hit the air horns in return which do make a big noise, gotta love triples, and me grinning like a loon - he scarpered toot sweet. I get respect, innit.

Did a practise RTV event pre-season and was losing traction in a few places. So I tried something different: Low box, 1st gear and let it drive the course on idle - didn't touch the pedals at all.

Result? Drove the courses easily. Not sure why but low 1st seems very low indeed in this car and the old fashioned engine management system actually works well to stop it stalling. Very impressive. No doubt the 31" Saharas helped a bit....

Doing my 1st competitive RTV in it in October and can't wait to see how it differs from the Sport. I must take off the steering stops....

I agree the badge is awesome.
Along with the obvious.....How much???
Would it have to be the same design? could we submit our own picture and writing request for the badge?
I would like the same sort of thing but with my own personalisation to it.

On the 2nd page, I talk about getting longer shackles....?

A body lift does nothing to improve it off road, raises the centre of gravity unnecessarily and is a lot of hastle in terms of scabby mount bolts, raising bumpers, lengthening pipes, raising the radiator. I just can't see any benefit?
