A Series up to September 1998, B Series thereafter.

Early A's are leaf sprung at the rear, Late A's (From May 1995) are coil sprung. Late A's also got the smooth dash in late 1996.

VX probably facelifted the dash in time for the August registration to try and sell a few more before the B came out a couple of years later.

Also, did this not coincide with the new engine ranges having lost the 2.8 to the 2.5.

As ive said ive came from the Cavalier / Vectra and always owned the GSI/SRI and CDX becuse they was the ones to own with the GSI/SRi for the power and CDX for all the toys. What the best Frontera to own ( meaning with the most toys dont care about power nowaday just want toys and a good mpg )

I dont think you can get Diamond (all toys) with later dash, so you will need to choose from nicer dash and nicer toys  All in all it will be great car, and whenever it will be 2.2 or facelift v6 you will be suprised how nice is to drive such big truck!

Find someone more local to you with LWB and ask him to take you for a ride (even on a firm road)

Who needs leather or aircon, when you have got proper 4-by-4! 8) :drink:

Im pretty sure, that all 2.2 Ecotecs have been fitted with aircon too! Every fronty have got fitted front el windows, el heated mirrors. Later dash will mean airbag. Rear el windows and el sunroof plus leather on Diamond (plus chrome bars).
