It's probably worth pointing out in the interests of my reputation that we are graduating more and more from me standing watching Andy do stuff to me doing stuff with Andy telling me what to do and jumping in when I get stuck/confused, which is easily done

Of course this does still mean that Andy spends more time with me on my truck than on his truck, but as all the big stuff is now done on mine I'm hoping to repay the favours and help with the BRB where I can

as you can see, there is no pad on the out side,

i had one like that but luckily it never damaged the disc just shot pad material out

i had a 2cv that had 2 pence pieces for pads once..
now that was a scary ride

Got a second hand radaitor of e-bay for £10 plus £10 pp guy says it fine here is hoping it arrives and is a good one

Andy, you have swapped the caliper havent you? that looks like its created a nast corner on the inside of the caliper, will be a fracture point.

it looked like the old caliper had got that hot it looked like a burnt piece of steel

No wonder he only got up the road before calling the AA, that guy you bought it off was a fool to let it get like that, shudder to think what could have happened with a brake failure

might just change the brake fluid as i think it has been boild

Well i finally got the jubilee clip off and got to the bottom of the cause of my fuel leak....





Now all i have to do is collect my replacement fuel guard, do the timing belt.

Also been offered a rear axle and diff which will solve my bearing issue without a bearinator and a fantastic price.
