I know Sir Doris has strengthened the bolts holding the pan on with a length of metal to spread the pressure to seal it so that idea of yours could be an option in that case.

Yesterday (or was it Saturday) I ripped out the drivers foot well sodden carpet.

Cleared away a lot of mud, replaced the nuts and bolts on the roll cage foot and fitted some alloy chequer plate to the drivers foot well. I'm not overly happy with the result as the plate needs to be a little longer, so will p/x the remaining 500mm square plate for a couple of longer plates and give it another go.

Maybe photo's next time.

Oh, also fixed a small radiator leak with some Radweld - don't leak no more :wink:

i done a bit of key hole surgery on my finger,

Prevented the wife from using the fronty........got her little 206 through it's MOT with just an advisory on the front pads....happy days....fronty is safe from womanly driving for now :lol:

well, i was drilling a hole in the roof lining for my new light panel, and using some bits of plastic on the other side of the roof lining, so i drilled through the panel and then drilled through the plastic on the other side of the lining, only to feel the drill go in to my finger and touch bone, oh i thought, i better put the drill in to reverse,

just a bit sore to type, keep trying not to use that finger, but then i forget, and i get owch 45 ooo 47 mmmm 7898 OWCH 45623, lucky it was only a 1.5mm drill bit,

Had a fight with an exhaust.......and won

The only one I could find which was near was one for a mk1 Trooper. I had to cut the join bracket off and slide over to fix to the old exhaust and cut off and relocate the rear rubber dounut clamp. I will have to cut a few inches off the tail pipe I think as well. I then fitted a Optima red top battery that I found on fleebay and finished the day off by repairing the small leak in the stearing box. Now all my little jobs are done I can go dumper truck racing tomorrow :dance:
