let me tell you it was treacle. black treacle that is
not that i wanted to put mi finger in take a taste...

I saw a drip of oil on my sump :shock:

So got a 10mm socket and tightened the bolts on the sump, nearly every one of them did over a half turn :shock:

so nipped them up and all is fine no drip.

I then went to the rear to fit my 2" poly spacers I got from our Doris, now I already have plus 2" coils and 1" spacer, but on getting the lower shock mounts off I noticed if I went higher I would loose to much travel in the shocks, so left it at that.
Now Ive got to get Father Christmas to get me some plus four shocks then flog my plus two shocks :wink:

well ive dropped my diesel tank again and cured a leak while i was doing that chey took the grill off and put new pipes on the musical air horn but its not quite right :lol:

We need to hear it :wink:

Added another screen for the rear view camera coz the stereo screen isnt really big enough. Mounted it using velcro strips so it can be removed easily because it will only be used while the trailer is hitched up!

2" lift now fitted and it only took ....
3 jacks,
4 concrete blocks,
1 lump hammer,
1 ball joint splitter...
and 3 hours of my time :lol:

fitted me new lights, sorry no picture till tomorrow, to dark, and still need to wire them in

i just secured set of bigger wheels,i'll be picking them up on wednesday.

Got started on a good detailing session.

Washed, clayed and started on the polishing - will get pics up tomorrow when the whole lot gets done

Replaced rear discs and pads (very nearly did it all by myself too

) Then AndySD1 fixed my dodgy exhaust with a total of 6 bit holder thingys and 2 large bolts. I also replaced the broken aerial with a spare one Andy had that should just about be long enough to double as an emergency fishing rod :lol:

Cleared out the junk from the back of the Sport, then brushed out all the pine needles.

Lifted out the rear carpet and removed som wiring left over from my attempted starting issue problems. Also swept out a load of mud/dirt from under the carpet and painted over some rust spots after treatment.

Also found this:

No idea what it is (would be nice to know), so fixed it to a convenient screw and earthed it (the car still starts and runs).

Also fitted a new bulb in the rear internal spot light.

Sorted out some rubbish in the garage (2 bin bags full) and started sorting out equipment for the Gap weekends laning trip.
