Snow Watch

The snow has finaly hit Exeter,not alot though, just enough to cover every thing white and to cause chaos for the 2wd brigade in my street :lol:

I think the worst reason for owning a 4X4 is, youre expected to make it into work. :evil:

I am now sat here until 5.30 with the customers cancelling and nothing to do. Everyone else that is in only live round the corner and walked in. No sales team or management.

So I cant even use the excuse, I cant get out of my road.

Yippee it's a snow Day, Royal Mail sent us home today 09:00 hrs all delivery's in the GU area have been cancelled

just keep getting small dustings of snow,

I think thats dandruff Andy, I saw a couple of flakes yesterday but wasnt sure if it was frost falling off the trees :roll:

went down garden centre and grabbed a bag of rock salt to melt some of the ice in the car park. also had some fun towing out two of the people in the car park

Crikey we have had another 2 to 3 inches this afternoon/this evening!!

Reckon we are around 12 to 18 inches and a bit more where it's drifted!!

So far the truck isn't having problems but it's getting worse getting about though. The worst bit is it's quite bumpy now as the snow is cutting up then freezing then getting more snow and freezing so quite rutted.

Good fun though lol

I awoke this morning to a news report that temperatures were down to a rather chilly -18 degrees. Brrrrrrrr. I even had ice INSIDE my car. As usual though, the old girl did good. Just wish she was a bit warmer on the inside. Ah well....can't achieve perfection I suppose.

Funny today was icey inside on every window too much breathing yesterday i think, was going to do brakes today but wifes at uni and son off school so its house work and xbox i think i would rather be out working than be at home

sorry guys,,,,still no snow....

but we have nice sunshine today,,,but cold,,,,,, :dance:

the roads got worse than this ,this was one of the better ones

and after a great shift with the snow one the way home

but lets see if it lasts till saturday and sunday when im off then i can get out to play

Its Icey snow watch up here. The main roads are better than yesterday plenty of snow left but it hasnt snowed today well wehad ten minutes of light hail. the back roads are the same but with not too 100% brakes wasnt going to risk the ice

snowing about 10 miles from me now at my mates house and i have gotten lumbered with an extra 4 hours ontop of my shift so i now finish at 2 in the morning then get a night shift tommorrow
