Refitted my off side torsion bar bolt
Removed the remains of my exhaust after it falling off
Refitted some wheel nuts as aft kindly only put 2 in per wheel lol.
Tomorrow will be time to strip the second frontera ready for cuttings muhaha

Replaced the plastic plugs holding the headlights...
MOT (kind of as HAUPTUNTERSUCHUNG in Germany is a bit more tricky, bu is lasting for two years) follows on Tuesday. Hope they will accept the mounted Bodylift and accomplish my papers...

offside brake flexi hose replaced -gotta love those spring clips holding them in place - NOT!!
replaced brake lines with copper from master cylinder to front brakes-now running a single line to rear-rear end to do and remove bias valve assy.
egr pipe from exhaust removed with no problem after a good soak for 2 days in penetrating fluid
front all done now - noticed the near side upper ball joint bolts were loose
so replaced bolts and re tightened
next,the rear end and then then engine stuff....

Painted the +4" springs that were fitted to my LWB a fetching shade of yellow ready to fit later this week
Soon to be without a Frontera after 10 years of owning one

Put some more bits back on it.
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been
Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered
)

Got abit further with the rack today. The main part of it is done, got all the light mounts on and the spare tyre mount. Just need to do the trays for the waffle boards and the tree/bush sliders down the sides (these'll be last so they don't get scratched to buggery) then some paint. Very pleased with it so far

I found out LWB bull bars dont fit SWB cars due to the to loop bit up bu the wings on the inside of the bull bar and the shape of the wings being different.......... So out come the angle grinder and the mussles I cut off the loops a bent the bar apart now it fits

+4" springs off my old LWB fitted, replaced rear top suspension arm, modified some Land Rover dislocation cones to fit Frontera coils, painted them yellow and fitted to the SWB.
Started removing the front axle, diff guard is off and the drivers side is stripped out, back on it tomorrow and hopefully have it wrapped up.
Job list seems to be going up not down, had to cut the bolt holding the axle to the chassis as the captive nut had broken free, snapped off 2 of the bolts that hold the diff guard to the chassis cross member so will need to sort out these as well

Another session and the old front axle is off, the 2 rear captive nuts decided to break free which caused me a major headache, fitted the front axle off my old LWB as it has a locker in it and a 35mm diff drop. Fitted my Calmini top arms, driveshafts, hubs, shocks, back on it again tomorrow
And I managed to slice open the top of my thumb with an angle grinder, serves me right for rushing

More spannering today
Fitted manual hubs, front calipers, flexi hoses, suspension crossmember, front propshaft. Replaced all metal brake pipes with copper and a good s/h brake block. Drilled out the split pins on the track rod ends and fitted them with the 2 new arms I had on the LWB
Drilled out and retapped one of the mountings for the front bash plate as the original one had snapped off
On a mission now, needs to be all done ready for playing on Saturday and there is still a shed load left to do
