Bobby I think the wheels look cool apart from the centre cap are the wrong shade of blue for the car

Afraid I have to agree with Andy Bobby. The wheels really do look good mate, but the caps? they looks like they come out of a Next Sale :shock:

Thanks guys. I did have a perfect match for the truck but didn't have enough to do all 4, so Chrissy bought me 2 large cans and thats how they turned out! I toyed with black and silver but couldn't make my mind up.

Will be going to collect mine from the garage after having 2 rear wheel bearings fitted now my pockets £302 lighter but it's done ready for its new springs and shocks to go on with new bushes :roll:

My old yella one was sideways everywhere, needed a clutch kick or an early downshift to get the back loose on 33-12.50's though, especially in the dry!

Not today but yesterday
Started the pickup first time in about 8 months. I didn't start for a couple of turns of the key. so thought it was out of petrol so put a jerry can full in but still wouldn't start then remembered I discounted the fuel pump relay :roll:

so plugged it back in turned the key and hey presto. Then drove it off the driveway and park it down the side of the house now the driveway is ready for when I pick up the caravan on Saturday.
The driveway looks so empty now without the pickup & sleeping pod

today i got a little bit of paint to try out an idea..
and it looks great or i think so

just need to do the others and get the 33" tyres on it

Started to rip the gearbox out (again) on Truck in preperation for the engine change.

2 paints that don't like each other its called crazing.

Last Friday I had a new clutch in the 2.2. £140 for the clutch kit £150 for fitting running like a beaut again

Having spent the week in the mud at work with O-no I decided it really was time to give it a good wash and hoover out the front (it was debatable whether there was more mud outside than inside!).

Took it down the garage and gave it a good jet blasting to get the mud off, following it up with a soapy scrub and a gentle wash off. All topped off with a wax finish... Nice sparkly clean truck.

And then .... It Rained... :roll:

Transfer gears
Couple of replacement bulbs
Still waiting on some chequer plate but may have enough to be getting on with!?
