Fitted the injector pipe that Stretch sent me and the truck is now back up and running!!!!! :dance:

Not done much on the SWB this week as the Disco needed an MOT, ACE block was still leaking so modified it to use compression fittings instead of the stupid seals that LR decided to use and it is now leak free.

Took it for an MOT and it failed :oops:

Its on an 03 plate and he found a hole in the rear chassis :oops:

Have done a temp repair to get it through the MOT but am planning on replacing the rear legs and then waxoyling the whole lot before winter sets in

Using almost 3/4 of a tank of petrol to do 228 miles. think it was down to the way I was driving ??mph & almost redlining it in all gears :oops:

Made a start on the stinky tyre's my mate gave me off his 2.8 that he scrapped. Took me over an hour to get the cow sh1t off them. Here's a start pick after the wash!!!

Looks like satin black...but i might be wrong...

Its a cheap tin of spray gloss black from the pound shop! Beats paying halfrauds price's!

I normaly pick up half a dozen tins when they get them in.

Taped my key together with ducktape came apart and I had to search for the bl#¥dy chip for 40 min this morning, as I was already late. This made me to late

As for me I replaced the shrieking alternator belt, and two power steering belts on the Mk.II. Also fitted this:

As the speedo doesn't work, I've been using a mobile phone app to keep track of distances travelled.

So today, worked out MPG. A smidgen over 15, average speed 40mph and a distance of 67 miles. 60 was 8 x 7.5 mile runs and the other 7 miles about the houses.

I've brimmed it again, probably run it to about 150 miles this time and check again.

Drove over 300 miles to get a bull bar for the 2.5 and a gearbox for the 2.8. Let's hope they appreciate my efforts lol

the only thing that let me down was EE when they decided to block my Internet so I couldn't get anyones address up lol so had to guess/try and remember where stretch's was on the map and luckily I was right and then the Internet came back on for ians address, few! And I still have fuel in the tank! I'm guessing I'll get just over 400 miles out of £50 of supermarket diesel so not bad

well to i changed the auto box filter and oil. didnt think there was anything up with it just something i have been meaning to do and it needed doing.
well what a difference it has made revs have dropped at idle by 200rpm and really smooth even foot to the floor it is very smooth change.
