WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!

Booked Brenda the Bighorn (Mk.II) in for her first MOT in our ownership.

Dropped Brenda off for the MOT ... now for the wait.

Did the usual checks, plus last night I tightened up both front wheel bearings. Here is hoping.

Failed

Rear fog light (forgot to check that one)
Steering tie rod end (they must of used a bigger whammy bar than mine)

All in all not a bad result considering I have no history on the car. Waiting for the call to go collect. after they fix it. Cannot be bothered to do it myself once I have gone out and got the parts, then back to fit them, then back to the station for a retest etc etc.

If I was a betting man I would say welding

finally got around to fitting a remote locking kit to my 2.8td

hardest part was feeding the wires through the door and dash board but now all done, awesome!

Fitted my newly painted diff cover to replace my pourus one , no more rear end oil leak

now to sort the one in the middle and the two at the front :oops:

Mounted the new CB and Antenna.

Took a multi meter to the ABS sensors to see if all was well.
The off side failed... so that's one to renew. :evil:

Took a look at the near side see if all was well...

... I wonder who forgot to reconnect that when he was working in that Side...the other weekend...Vauxsqueeks...
Tested it anyway if failed... :thumbup:

So fitted a new number plate and ordered some sensors....

Replaced my rotten fule lines with a little help from gregsters fork lift

Got a Baaargain..... 5 brand new Kumho KL 71 - 31/1050 R15 tyres all for 395 beer tokens :dance:

Not today but yesterday.
Finally wired up my winch ( it's only been on the car for 7 months )
Then wired up the rear view camera & monitor
Plus made some wheel nut covers out of shot gun shells

Adjusted the hand brake, fitted new number plate bulb, fitted replacement rear wiper motor.

Received two abs sensors ready for fitting.

Piad the boys for my bits.... :drink:

Yup you guessed it it's MOT time...

Going to be loads of fun doing the 'ruddy sensors... :twisted:

Put 2 new General Grabbers on the back axle and had one brake backing plate disintegrate.. oh well.

I reversed into one of those stupid traffic bollards that is in car parks with our truck,the bollard came of worse as I took it completely out of the ground. :oops:

I know I will get stick for this.

I had went to look at that stupid bollard and I thought I had taken it completely out of the ground but saddly it is still in the ground,as you can see from the picy. It was to dark to really see anything last night.
