Yesterday

Changed the oil, greased the rear for mech. my son struggled to open the door.

Today put the 2" springs in, only gave me about 30 mm more might have to change the shocks as well.

It's got a full external cage, and the back section is on hinges with jerrycan storage on. You can see bits of the cage there.

Today ive had semi success with the dreaded dash probs ive stripped dash pod and re tinned the connectors and tried to find any dry joints atleast I now have a speedo that works just the fuel gauge that reads full all the time to go

and ive had no luck with the central locking on the tailgate although all rods are in place and it makes the noises it dont lock and I can smell antifreeze in the car so im guessing heater matrix is on the list at some time........ ahhhh the joys of motoring :roll:

New fuel filter and replace throttle position sensor ( again )
Replace snapped crossmember on the wife's pug ! Not a bad days work !

Ok not today but yesterday I

Fitted new wheel bearings
Fittend new AVM hubs
Fitted new Lambda sensor --- which was a ****
Shortend my winch cable
Fixed a leak in my exhaust
Changed powersteering fluid
Fitted new NGK plugs
Fixed a leak in my dads 2.2 dti brake compensation valve

Grafted my balls off but the cold has well and truly gone through me now though. Still freezing with the heating on full blast :thumbdown:

My EML light is still on :evil:

so Colley has reccomended resetting it and I have a new windscreen washer motor as mines still playing up and we all know how sh!tty things can get out laneing. :wink:

Yesterday i decided i best return to the world after months of excessive work, so i pulled the tarp of my trucks n stuck a battery on the 2.5 and fired her up..............first turn and no smoke at all, not bad to say its been covered since i went to the lakes with Steved n Trev(countryest).

Got the shorty muddy in Kent

took it to kent..
and now have a set of 33" mud tyres

and collected my rear winch

Dropped it off for its annual ridicule.

Wont pass but its a case of how many pages will the fail sheet be.

Hasa duff fog light - didnt have any bulbs that fitted around and no power at the screenwash pump + engine management light on at idle- which i think is a vacumn leak.

Its gone to my friendly ( family friend)garage so no doubt he will stick it in for test then laugh like hell....while rubbing his hands together.

Well today i bought a new battery from halfrauds because i needed one quick. Then i managed to remove the oil cooler and found that the rubber gasket had failed. Then i find the thermostat housing was busted so a new one orderd £57 blooming quid. :eh:

Then i find the rear hose to the cooler is about as thick as a bloody rubber glove. Its perished big time and its the one that goes to the rear of the block so the feckin worst one to get at!!!! What else is this little beast going to throw at me???? :roll:

New brake pads al round and new discs on the back axle.

Didn't do anything to the truck but took a leaf out of gregs redneck bible and bought 20 hockey pucks to be used as body lift pucks

for the shorty just have to source the bolts now
