any problems locating the pucks,were the bolts the right size :?:

mostly, yes and not quite - in that order

All the old bolts came out without too much bother - none of them snapped, but the fronts had to be cut out as they had seized into the old mountings. There was quite a bit of "leverage" needed to get the pucks to locate correctly, but we got them all there eventually.

The only concern really is that the bolts are a little soft, but they should be ok. We ended up grinding the ends to be a bit pointed so they located easier, and some brute force was needed on the rears, otherwise all was ok. Started at 10ish, finished about 3 - not too bad at all.

Oh today after a lil fettle up north with the dreaded duo... I made the silly mistake of getting under mine with a Karcher :shock:

Damn I got wet. very wet. Thought I'd done a cracking job till it dried and I cant see where all the mud came from as theres plenty left up there :cry:

Oh and greased my nipples and fitted steering stabiliser.

Well, not long back from the jet wash - can't start a laning trip with a dirty car.

Prior to that, I gum gummed the one of the exhaust flanges - sounds a bit better now.

took me a full hour just hoovering all the sand out of the truck after returning from cornwall last weekend :shock:

Big red fronty popped round to have quick bash plate re alignment,slowed down slightly by me saying........ lets whip the cross member off & do a proper job of it & sort those snapped bolts :oh yer:

next time I will go with the cable tie theory :lol:

hovered car out then got distracted by fitting remote control rear lights didnt get round to washing it though

I washed The Old Girl and emptied all the crap outta the boot.

Inflated they rear tyre again ( on the list of things to do) using cigarette plug in compressor , once inflated put pump away had cup of tea 5 mins later could hear a car fan going took 1 minute for the connection left the engine running :roll:

300lbs lighter :lol:

Thanks to big red fronty and the aid of his trolly jack and fancy tools
side steps are now off - and a wad of steel cut of the tow bar :lol:

and removel of the mud flaps ... Gypsys Idea ive yet to find out why lol

Stared a the car for a long time and tried to work out whether to get rid of it before the MOT is due in a few weeks time (plus tax at the end of the month) or whether to make her live again for another year

give her another year mate :wink:

Used it for a quick trip down the motorway to Weaves for a cuppa or three + a really excellent slice of sponge cake......... Thanks Chey :dance:
